EXPERIENCE

Larry is responsible for the preparation of tender documents, selection and approval of contractors, supervision of surveyors and inspectors from construction start through to final assumption of services by municipalities. He is also responsible for the co-ordination of pre-engineering and topographic survey data, review of design drawings and liaison with designers and owners for construction and costing purposes. He manages the final approval of all contract payment certificates for all services including reduction of letter of credits to final release for all governing authorities and the final co-ordination and calculation for cost sharing with municipalities and other benefitting stakeholders. Larry coordinates the certification and approval of builder’s final house siting and lot grading for release from the Subdivision Agreement.

PROJECT CONSTRUCTION MANAGER- Larry is responsible for the preparation of tender documents, selection and approval of contractors, supervision of surveyors and inspectors from construction start through to final assumption of services by municipalities. He has extensive expertise in all aspects of municipal construction including:

  • Municipal Servicing & Lot Grading
  • Erosion and Sediment Control
  • Stormwater management ponds and facilities
  • Culverts and Special hydraulic structures
  • Special construction techniques including trenchless technologies

1983 - 1986 - D.G. Biddle & Associates Limited, Oshawa

CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR & INTERMEDIATE MUNICIPAL DESIGNER- Larry was responsible for the inspection of site grading, underground services and roadwork by contractor, including the co-ordination of surveyors, soils and other inspections that may be required. He was responsible for certain design aspects of underground services, roadwork and lot grading under the supervision of the project manager.
