Michael is an associate with D. G. Biddle and Associates Limited and has been working full time for the firm since graduation from McMaster University in 1997. Michael also worked for the firm while earning his Bachelor of Engineering Degree from 1994 to 1997. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds the designation as a Consulting Engineer. Throughout his 20 years he has worked in many facets including construction inspector, CAD operator, engineering designer and Project Manager. Michael is proficient in stormwater and sanitary drainage, hydrology and hydraulics including computer software programs Visual Otthymo, Ottswwm and Hec-Ras. He has had experience in new stormwater management techniques including permeable pavers, bio-retention swales and other LID (Low Impact Development) technologies.
Over the past 10 years he has assumed the responsibility of Project Manager. Michael has worked as both lead Consultant and sub-consultant to the design team. He has built an excellent working rapport with both clientele and Regional and Municipal approval agency staff. He has attended Public Meetings and PIC's as required under the Planning Act. Having excellent time management skills, Michael has learned to balance project co-ordination while still completing the hands-on engineering design.

MUNICIPAL DESIGN ENGINEER- Michael is responsible for overseeing and preparing the design of underground services and roadwork’s for both small and large scale projects; municipal as well as private developments. He has extensive expertise in all aspects of municipal design including:

- Site Servicing & Lot Grading
- Residential / Industrial Subdivisions
- Erosion and Sediment Control
- Stormwater Management in accordance with M.O.E. design Criteria & Low Impact Development
- Flood Hydrology and Hydraulics

- On-Site Private Fire Fighting Reservoir Design
