Michael has extensive planning experience in the development field, with particular focus on municipal approvals. Michael has spent much of his career in the Planning and Building Departments at the City of Toronto and the City of Markham where he learned the inner workings of the municipal approvals processes.
After six years of volunteering at Habitat for Humanity Toronto, Michael was appointed their Vice President of Planning Land Acquisition, where he reconfigured the not-for-profit homebuilder’s land acquisition and development processes to match that of the land development industry. Michael continues to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity locally.
PLANNING MANAGER- Michael is responsible for legislation by-laws and laying out a road map through the municipal approvals process, based on the clients’ needs, timelines and resources, in consideration of current planning policy and legislation. Michael’s areas of expertise are:
