EXPERIENCE

Timothy is a partner with D. G. Biddle and Associates Limited and has been working full time for the firm since April 2014. Prior to this Timothy completed his Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering from 2012 to 2013. While completing his Bachelor of Engineering Science degree from 2008-2012. Throughout his work experience he has worked in many roles including CAD Operator, Team Leader, Project Manager, and engineering designer. He has built an excellent working rapport with both clientele and Municipal approval agencies.

April 2014 - Present - D.G. Biddle & Associates Limited, Oshawa, ON

• Structural design and analysis of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings using Ontario Building Codes, National Building Codes and CSA standards including but not limited to (Steel, Wood, Concrete, Masonry and Cold Form Steel).
• Preparation of working, permit, tender and construction drawings.
• Foundation design of pre-engineered buildings, wood piles, shallow concrete foundations.
• Building Condition Assessments.
• Structural site inspections and evaluations.
• Design development of buildings.
• Project Management: specifically dealing with request for information, request for change notice, change notices, reviewing and approving extras and changes to the contract documents.
• Communicating and coordination between Architects, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Geotechnical consultants, Municipality plans examiners, construction trades, material suppliers and clients
• Auto CAD operator, plans, sections, elevations, and details.
